Regions Hospital
HealthPartners Regions Hospital is among one of the best hospitals in Minnesota, according to a new initiative by The Leapfrog Group, an organization that compares hospitals' performance on the national standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
The Leapfrog Group awarded each hospital with a common letter-grade, "A", "B", "C", "D" or "F", as a way to provide the public with an easy way to compare hospital safety standards.
Regions Hospital took home an "A" in the Hospital Safety Scores and was one of 17 Minnesota hospitals to do so. Criteria for the letter grades included evaluating each hospital's ability to prevent patient injuries, medical and medication errors and infections.
